We have really been trying this past week to follow promptings of the Spirit. Anytime, we felt a certain prompting we told each other "No regrets!" and we followed it!! We have had a few great experiences with this. One night, it was about 8:30 and all of our plans fell through..so, we said a prayer to know where we should go. Hna Clark felt that we should go visit a less active you recently told us not to come back. Though we were a little hesitant and scared, we told ourselves "No regrets!" and we went. Turns out she has been going through a hard time, she invited us back the next day, we had an amazing lesson with her, and then she came to all three hours of church! She even brought her sister who is not a member! :) We were also able to find a very sweet hispanic family in a huge apartment complex that we didnt have time to tract the whole thing. So, by praying and following promptings and saying "no regrets!" we knocked on one door and there they were! :) They invited us back! I hope everything goes well with them!
Our investigator Ricardo came to church yesterday and loved it! He is set to be baptized on Halloween! :) He is progressing really well and already has a lot of support from the members! I am excited to keep working with him!
Something that I didnt realize before my mission is that there are people who have never been told how much they are loved by God. We were able to meet Nora, who is a college student. She told us she didnt know if God exsisted. She had a lot of great questions. After reading a few verses and testifying she offered a prayer, and it was one of the most sincere prayers I have heard. She apologized to Heavenly Father for not believing in Him, then expressed how now she really did believe in Him and felt His love. It was so great :) The Spirit was so strong!
The work is going well.
I love the gospel. Repentance is real. Heavenly Father's love is real too.
Thanks for everything!
