It's a new year! There have been a lot of changes! There was such an amazing Spirit in the Branch on Sunday, everyone was so ready for the new year and all the good things that are going to happen! The Branch started its own primary! (before the kids were combined with the english ward) Now, there are hermanas with calling and there are enough kids to have our own primary! I heard the first day was pretty rough, but its all part of the growing process.
Another change was the weather! It snowed on sunday and today and actually stuck! :) It was so pretty and made me think of good ol' Utah :) All of the kids were making snow balls after church ha even though there was only like an inch. However, no one really knows how to drive in the snow up here in washington so we have to be super careful driving. But, its been fun!
We also were able to find Emma, she is from Guatemala. She is incredible. She has been homeless multiple times in her life and told us that she doesnt have the greatest relationship with God. We testified that she is a daughter of God and he loves her soo much, we also taught about prayer, and she started crying! The Spirit was so strong and it just felt so right. :) I am excited to keep working with her, she is so sweet.
I have felt so much love for the people here. To be honest, it has been a little hard having faith in the members because of a few things that happened, but as I fasted yesterday for the ability to love them, I felt as if I truly saw them as their Father in Heaven sees them! :) It has been super great. I am still learning everyday, and I am so glad to be here! :)
I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years and have set some great New Years Resolutions! :)
Adios!
