This week was awesome! We were able to
prepare Hugo for his baptism interview and he passed! So everything is
good for his baptism this saturday! :) all the members love him! its so
great to see them really getting involved in missionary work! we have to
make a Noche de Hogar ( family home evening) calendar because all of
the members want to invite him! Fellow shipping is a HUGE part of a
journey of a new member! and its so great to see an investigator really
be comfortable with the branch :) it is something I know I can improve
on once I return, not just being friends with the new members but with
all of the members! :) and I challenge y'all to do the same!
We
were also able to hit standards this week! (standards are kinda like
weekly goals that our mission has in correlation to our lessons taught,
new investigators, and investigators who come to church) this was the
first time that we have reached them as a companionship, so that was
exciting!Monday, July 20, 2015

We have been super busy this week!
One of our investigators basically invited himself to be baptized haha and so now we are preparing him to be baptized on the 25th :) we met him a little less than a month ago, and everytime we had seen him, we invited him to be baptized. and everytime he said that he needed more time. Then one day we were at a restaurant with him and he asked, if we would invite him to become a member of the church...so we did and he said yes! then we asked if we could set a date and he said "tomorrow?" haha needless to say He was definetly prepared by the Lord and I am so grateful for the chance to know him! We were able to go to a baptism of one of the investigators of Hna Bagley in her old area, and Hugo (our investigator) came too! it was really great :)Saturday, July 11, 2015
What a week of changes, adjusting, learning, and meeting incredible people!!
I
want everyone to know that the power of prayer is real! I have received
a lot of answers to my prayers this past week! I can also testify that
as we pray more often we are able to better see the hand of the Savior
in our lives :)
